How a project runs, what the price covers and what applies when something changes

2. What these terms cover
These terms govern the cooperation between the provider and the client on the production of audiovisual works — promotional videos, event coverage, music videos, podcasts, aerial footage and related services. They form part of every order unless the parties agree otherwise in writing.
3. Enquiry, quotation and order
- Cooperation starts with an enquiry sent through the contact form, by e-mail or by phone.
- Based on the brief, the provider prepares a quotation. Unless stated otherwise, a quotation is valid for 30 days from the date it is sent.
- The contract is concluded once the client confirms the quotation in writing. E-mail counts as written form.
- If the client changes the brief after confirmation, the provider will adjust the price and the deadline and agree the change with the client before carrying it out.
4. Price and payment
- Prices shown on the website are indicative. The price stated in the confirmed quotation is binding.
- A deposit of 50 % of the price is payable when the shooting date is confirmed. The balance is due after delivery, within 14 days, unless the quotation states otherwise.
- Third-party costs — music licences, performers’ fees, rental of equipment or premises, travel and accommodation outside the Bratislava and Trnava regions — are charged separately unless they are expressly included in the quotation.
- In the event of late payment, the provider is entitled to default interest under the applicable law.
5. Deadlines and how a project runs
A project runs in four stages: preparation and concept, shooting, post-production, delivery. The delivery date is stated in the quotation and runs from the moment all materials have been supplied and the concept has been approved by the client.
For shoots outdoors and for aerial footage, the provider may move the date because of weather, airspace restrictions or another obstacle it did not cause. In that case the provider will propose the earliest possible alternative date and no cancellation fee is charged to the client.
6. What we need from the client
- The client supplies materials — logo, brand guidelines, copy, access credentials — by the agreed date and names one contact person authorised to make decisions.
- The client secures permission to film on premises it does not own, and consents from the people to be recorded, unless the provider arranges these.
- If the client is late in supplying materials or in giving approval, the delivery date is extended by the same number of days.
7. Revisions and delivery
- Two rounds of revisions are included in the price unless the quotation states otherwise. The client sends comments in writing and all at once.
- Further rounds of revisions and any change of concept after it has been approved are work beyond the scope of the order and are charged as agreed.
- If the client does not respond to a delivered version within 10 working days, the work is deemed approved.
- The finished work is delivered electronically, via a download link. The provider archives source data for 6 months after delivery; after that period it may no longer have them available.
8. Copyright and licence
- The provider is the author of the work. Once the price has been paid in full, the client receives a licence to use the work to the extent and for the purpose agreed in the quotation.
- Until payment in full, the client is not entitled to publish or otherwise use the work.
- Source files — editing project files and raw footage — are not included in the price unless agreed otherwise.
- Music used in the work is licensed for that specific work and for the channels listed in the quotation. Using the work beyond that scope requires the licence to be extended.
9. Use of the work in our portfolio
The provider is entitled to use the finished work and behind-the-scenes material in its portfolio, on its website and on social media. The client may refuse this in writing, or agree with the provider on a period during which the work will not be published.
10. Cancellation
- More than 14 days before the agreed shooting day: the deposit is refunded, less demonstrably incurred costs.
- 14 to 3 days before the shoot: a cancellation fee of 50 % of the order price.
- Less than 72 hours before the shoot: a cancellation fee of 100 % of the price of the shooting day.
- If the shoot is prevented by circumstances caused by neither party, no cancellation fee is charged and the parties agree an alternative date.
11. Complaints
Defects in the work must be raised in writing within 14 days of delivery, describing what the defect consists of. A justified complaint will be remedied by the provider free of charge and without undue delay, as a rule within 30 days. A change in the client’s requirements compared with the approved concept is not a defect.
12. Liability
The provider is liable for damage up to the price of the particular order. It is not liable for lost profit or for indirect damage. If a technical failure makes it impossible to deliver part of the footage, the provider will give the client a reasonable discount or an alternative shooting date.
13. If you are a consumer
If the client is not acting within their business activity, consumer protection legislation applies to them. They may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason; this does not apply to a work made to order, nor to a service that was provided at their express request before that period expired.
The supervisory authority is the Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia), SOI Inspectorate for the Trnava Region, based in Trnava. A dispute may also be resolved out of court — through the alternative dispute resolution system at soi.sk or through the platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
14. Personal data
How we handle personal data is set out in a separate document, Privacy policy.
15. Final provisions
Matters not covered by these terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. The provider may amend these terms; for an order already confirmed, the wording effective on the day of confirmation applies.
